Our Role in California

As the CalRecycle approved Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) for SB 707, Landbell USA is responsible for the infrastructure needed to meet California’s textile recovery requirements. We operate as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, focused entirely on running this program efficiently, transparently, and fairly for all participants.

Landbell USA is the CalRecycle approved Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) for textiles under California’s Senate Bill 707 (the Responsible Textile Recovery Act of 2024). We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) entity responsible for implementing the statewide covered materials stewardship program, ensuring producers can meet their legal obligations, and building the collection and recovery infrastructure required by the statute. 

Our governance model is built for full transparency. We operate under clearly defined board bylaws. Our Board includes representatives from, retailers, producers, and supply chain partners. As a 501(c)(3) company, our activities and financial reporting are subject to strict oversight.

We prioritize a transparent approach to program development through our stakeholder working groups. These groups provide a platform for continuous, and open feedback from the textile value chainincluding repair and reuse entities, and various industry associationsto ensure our program design and implementation remains practical, efficient, equitable, and effective for all stakeholders.
